I am reviewing the disc golf course at the park in particular. The course has advanced and recreational tees and baskets. I love the recreational course, not too long or difficult, but I have not been brave enough to try the advanced yet. I gave three stars because the signage needs improved and there are no bathrooms available besides a portable toilet next to the parking lot. As a woman I would appreciate an indoor restroom especially to wash up. The rest of the park seemed neat with the old homestead and other buildings to view when they are open. Included some pics of the surroundings.

A bit more on the rustic side than some outdoor park goers might be used to - the bathroom is a Porta potty, trails can be pretty rough to navigate- but overall it fits my needs of being a jogging trail and I love coming here. Please remember to watch for snakes, bring water, and leash your pups :)

Love the walk in the woods with the (leashed) dogs. Followed the disc course and did a loop through the woods ending with the raptor houses.

Great disc golf course. Very beefy and a lot of different ways you can play the course. A little bit hairy and needs better signage still.

My review is for the disc golf course. I do not really use the other park facilities. The park has two courses. The short rec course can easily be completed in under an hour. The advanced course is challenging and about 2hrs to play (solo). The course used to be overgrown, but it has been well maintained since the new apartments went in nearby. Some signs are still lacking as the redesigned holes do bot have finished course signs. They do have wood signs with written footage of the new layout. Both courses overlap and holes 1 and 18 are very close to the parking so you finish very near to where you started.
